Where

Villa Clara is located in the charming medieval village of Saint Jeannet. This means that the village bakeries, butcher, grocer, the village’s six restaurants and bars are an easy 2 minute walk from the villa.

International connections are excellent. Nice Airport is just 16 kilometres from Villa Clara.

The Côte d’Azur is also within easy reach – just 16 kilometres away. Travel along the coast to explore the bustle of Cannes, historic Antibes or take a short trip along the Riviera to Monaco.

Transport

Villa Clara has parking for 4 cars. There is an hourly bus service to and from railway stations, and the famous CAP 3000 shopping complex in Nice. A local taxi service to and from Nice Airport costs around 50 Euro.

The View

From Villa Clara you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean, the hilltop village of St Paul de Vence and the marvellous surrounding countryside of Provence.

Privacy

Villa Clara offers excellent privacy and security. The villa is situated behind two locked gates. There is also a security alarm, which is monitored 24 hours a day.

The Lounge

The large lounge is beautifully decorated in Provençale style, and features exposed oak beams. Comfortable sofas, chairs and great ambience create the perfect place to relax in front of the large fireplace with brand new wood burner. For entertainment there is a brand new 47 " flat screen television which receives English, Italian, French and German cable channels. And there is also a DVD recorder/Video recorder, along with plenty of books and family games.

The Kitchen

Totally renovated in December 2009, you will love to cook in Villa Clara’s kitchen. It has everything you need. Along with all the utensils, there are 5 gas hobs and a jumbo electric oven, a microwave oven, large fridge/freezer, a professional espresso machine, toaster, electric jug kettle, dishwasher. In the centre is an 8 seater Provençale table. The kitchen has crockery, glasses, cups for 8 people. Along with plenty of wineglasses, of course. Indoor and outdoor table linen is also provided, along with dishwasher tablets and cleaning materials.

The Wood Fired Pizza Oven

On the terrace of Villa Clara you'll find a wood fired pizza oven and charcoal grill. It’s simple to use, and with it you can easily create beautiful fresh pizzas. Voila! Wood is always available from the local garage.

Bedrooms

The Master Bedroom

The grand Master Bedroom is on the main level. It has a king sized bed, lots of storage and wardrobe space, a brand new 32 " flat screen television, dressing table, and bedside cabinets. It also has an en-suite bathroom complete with large bath, separate shower, toilet, hand basin and vanity with storage.

The Garden Bedroom

This lovely bedroom has French doors which open on to Villa Clara’s beautiful garden. The Garden Bedroom has two single beds that can be joined to make a double bed as well as a 30 " television , videa palyer and wardrobe.

The Children’s Bedroom

This cosy small bedroom has 2 single bunk beds, the good sturdy wooden kind with saftey bars.

Bathrooms

The Master Bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, while the Garden Bedroom and Children’s Bedroom share a separate bathroom. This has a shower with a built-in small, but wonderfully deep, bath. It also boasts a bidet and, of course, wash basin. A toilet is located between the Garden Bedroom and Children’s Bedroom.

The Laundry

Villa Clara’s laundry is equipped with both a washing machine and a drier. Laundry tablets, for one wash a day, are provided. The laundry also has lots of storage space. The ideal place to store your suitcases.A brand new hotwater cyclinder was installed in 2008.

The Office

Although Villa Clara is designed for relaxation, it’s good to know that if you really need to catch up on work you can. The office is a separate room equipped with a laptop, a printer, a scanner and photocopier. You can also work online through wireless high speed internet access. This service is free. The office’s ‘live-box’ makes it easy to connect. If you need any help with any computer problems, Villa Clara has a local expert who can help get you working for a small charge of 60 Euro per hour.

The Studio

Villa Carla has a delightful studio in its grounds. This is a self contained building situated just 10 metres from the main villa. Inside is a kitchenette, with 2 electric cooking hobs, electric jug kettle and a fridge. There’s also a small television set. The cottage has its own separate shower and toilet too. The double sofa bed includes an extra mattress, so we really can guarantee you an excellent night’s sleep here. If no-one in your party is using the studio, why not simply enjoy it as a fantastic summer house. A great place to take it easy on those long hot Mediterranean Summer days.

The Swimming Pool

Villa Clara is just 16 kilometers from the coast. Yet, you don’t even need to go that far for a swim. The private garden pool is 9 meters in length and 4.5 meters in width. It has depth of 1.8 meters at ‘the deep end’ and gently slopes to 0.9 meters at ‘the shallow end’. For extra safety, it has a pool alarm. During the summer, it is serviced every week to ensure excellent water quality. You can also make full use of the outdoor furniture, and sun umbrellas. And, of course, beach towels are supplied free.
